We are parents, teachers, and community members working together to enrich the educational experience at Greensview Elementary.
What Our PTO Does
Community Events
The PTO organizes fun community events throughout the year that bring students, families, and staff together to build school spirit and lasting connections. From Fall Family Fun Night to Pancake Breakfast to Outdoor Movie Night, these events help strengthen the Greensview community.
Teacher Grants
The PTO provides teacher grants to help fund classroom materials, educational programs, and creative learning experiences that may not be covered by the school budget. These grants directly support teachers and enhance student learning.
School Supplies
Starting in 2025 the district mandated, parents purchase their students school supplies through the PTO, This ensures teachers and students have the tools they need for a positive learning environment.
Field Trips
The PTO helps fund educational field trips that give students hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom. These opportunities enrich learning, encourage exploration, and create memorable experiences for students.
Student Assemblies
The PTO sponsors engaging student assemblies that support learning, character development, and school enrichment. These programs may include educational speakers, cultural experiences, science demonstrations, and school-wide celebrations.
Adult Only Events
PTO holds a few adult only events for parents to connect year round. Mane Event has traditionally been the largest fundraiser for the PTO.
